My problem is basically this one:
How can I tell linux kernel to completely ignore a disk as if it was not even connected?
But this question is 5 years old. Is there any new simpler solution or a patch for the kernel 4.19.0-1-amd64 (that's the case of my MX Linux)?
Or does the patch given to the former question also compatible with newer kernels?

Possible off-topic question. MX Linux is not Ubuntu, nor an official flavor of Ubuntu, thus off-topic on this site. Please refer askubuntu.com/help/on-topic (kernel 4.19 is currently off-topic being ubuntu+1 too, Ubuntu 19.04 questions have other support methods)
