If I use dd command make an img file to back up my disk when I am using Ubuntu Live USB, and than I format my disk. Can I restore my file from that img file? (including the data is not files)

In theory, yes, However, test it carefully first. 'dd' is appropriately known among oldsters as 'data destroyer' or 'disk destroyer' because it's a power-saw without any handguards on it. It's very easy to make a terrible and non-reversible mistake. Many safer backup method are easily available.

In theory, yes, However, test it carefully first. 'dd' is appropriately known among oldsters as 'data destroyer' or 'disk destroyer' because it's a power-saw without any handguards on it. It's very easy to make a terrible and non-reversible mistake. Many safer backup method are easily available.
