Biografía


Tras estudiar arte y dibujo, comenzó rodando diversos cortometrajes presentados en festivales de todo el mundo.


En 2009 dirige junto a Sonia Escolano el largometraje experimental Myna se va,[1]​ que cuenta la historia de una inmigrante ilegal y los problemas por los que pasa en España. La película obtiene la mención de honor del jurado a la mejor interpretación en el Festival de Cine de Austin.[2]​ También participa en la sección oficial de festivales como Athensfest,[3]​ Les Rencontres des Cinémas d'Europe,[4]​ en Francia, o el Festival Internacional de Cine del Bronx[5]​ de Nueva York, entre otros festivales de cine.


En 2016, y después de volver de un retiro en Francia, rueda el largometraje Black Hollow Cage,[6]​ un drama de ciencia ficción que cuenta la historia de Alice, una niña traumatizada por la pérdida de su brazo, que vive en una casa aislada en un bosque con la única compañía de su padre y un perro lobo. Un día la niña se encuentra con un extraño cubo con la capacidad de cambiar el tiempo.


En 2017, Black Hollow Cage gana el Premio del Jurado en el Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico de Bucheon,[7]​ en Corea del Sur, el más importante de género de Asia. Además obtiene sección oficial en el Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico de Sitges,[8]​ Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico de Neuchâtel[9]​ y en el Festival de Cine de Raindance,[10]​ donde consigue tres nominaciones (mejor película, mejor guión para Sadrac González-Perellón y mejor interpretación para Lowena McDonell).


En 2018 hace su primera película como productor, Casa de Sudor y Lágrimas,[11]​ dirigida por Sonia Escolano. La película se presenta en Frontières del Festival de Cine de Cannes.[12]​ Posteriormente, consigue entrar en la sección oficial de uno de los festivales más importantes del mundo, el Fantastic Fest,[13]​ en Austin, Estados Unidos.
