Thinkpad X230 running Ubuntu Studio 18.04 with KDE desktop.

About 1 in 5 times that I close the lid or manually try to put the laptop into suspend/sleep mode, it fails. When it fails, the screen goes black and/or shuts off and the system is unresponsive. After a minute or so, it responds again and I get the login screen. If I login again and try suspending again, it will usually work. I haven't had this problem running Linux Mint KDE on this laptop, so I'm wondering if it's perhaps due to the low-latency kernel. (I have had a different problem in Linux Mint, where it won't occasionally fails to resume from suspend.)
