El III Distrito Electoral Local de Hidalgo es uno de los dieciocho Distritos Electorales Locales del estado de Hidalgo para la elección de Diputados Locales. Su cabecera es la ciudad de Orizatlán.

Historia



Orizatlán como cabecera distrital


El poblado de San Felipe Orizatlán nunca había sido cabecera distrital hasta el 3 de septiembre de 2015 cuando el Consejo General del Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) aprobó los distritos electorales uninominales locales y sus respectivas cabeceras distritales de Hidalgo, que entraron en vigor para las elecciones estatales de Hidalgo en 2016.[1]​[2]​

San Felipe Orizatlán sede del Consejo distrital.


Este distrito esta integrado por un total de seis municipios, que son los siguientes:[3]​



  • Atlapexco, integrado por 16 secciones electorales.


  • Huazalingo, integrado por 10 secciones electorales.


  • San Felipe Orizatlán, integrado por 24 secciones electorales.


  • Tlanchinol, integrado por 26 secciones electorales.


  • Xochiatipan, integrado por 13 secciones electorales.


  • Yahualica, integrado por 15 secciones electorales.
