I am trying to build the kernel for rpi3 model b. I am providing the default config file bcm2709_defconfig to build the linux kernel version 4.14.95, it is booting up successfully but then the usb ports are not able to drive the mouse and keyboard. Am I supposed to enable some driver by doing menuconfig, which is not enabled by defconfig??
help me regarding this. thanks in advance!
edit: I am cross compiling it on x86 in ubuntu 16.04 with cross compiler ~/tools/arm-bcm2708/arm-rpi-4.9.3-linux-gnueabihf/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-
