I do receive a high unknown traffic on one of my L2 interface. its pure L2 no IP nthing. Comes from traffic simulation and can not be prevented. Traffic must dropped cos it was flooded from the upper switch. But this unknown traffic creates a high load. All the other traffic is disturbed.
What can I do to get the dropping with less load ? Where do the load really comes from kernel ? network driver ? interrupts ?
