Noticed reduced performance on my Ryzen 2600x, so went to set the governor to performance, however cpufreq-set was unable to do so.
Running cpufreq-info returns no or unknown cpufreq driver is active on this CPU for each core. Noticed also that /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/ no longer exists.
lsmod | grep -i acpi returns nothing, so looks like acpi-cpufreq is not getting loaded. I've tried manually loading the module, with no success. I've also added it to modules.load.d with no success.
This is on kernel 5.0.0-7.

This only started recently, a few days ago I was able to set the governor.

Any indication as to whether this is something I'm doing wrong, or is it a bug in some recent update to 19.04?
