I am installing Ubuntu 14.04 alongside Windows 10 and am wondering how much space to set aside for the bootloader partition. I am also not sure about the swap space and am not sure if I need a swap space. Is that only for hibernation?

14.04 has no support currently. Please install at least 16.04 and with 18.04 no need to worry about swap.
