I have an external hard disk that I can't access. I tried using HDDGurus low-level format on windows and it wouldn't see. I couldn't see it using diskpart in windows. It won't appear through fdisk on ubuntu. However, if I input lsusb without it plugged in I get

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 8087:0a2b Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0b05:1837 ASUSTek Computer, Inc.

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:c537 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

and with it plugged in I get

Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0bc2:ab28 Seagate RSS LLC
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
