I have just switched to Ubuntu studio 12.04 from Ubuntu 12.10 and i was wondering how to install my proprietary Amd drivers from a ppa like on ubuntu. Another question is if the way we install programs in xubuntu is the same as installing on ubuntu studio or ubuntu.
Thanks

The way that you install software in Ubuntu Studio is the same as you do in Ubuntu (Ubuntu Studio have some different packages as Ubuntu, that's all).
If you want to install the latest AMD drivers for you graphic card, I recommend you to build the .deb packages using the .run installer of AMD website:
What is the correct way to install proprietary ATI Catalyst Video Drivers (fglrx) directly from AMD?
