Francisco Cereceda Cisternas (La Serena, 15 de julio de 1884 - ?) fue un ingeniero y político liberal chileno, ministro de Estado de los presidentes Carlos Ibáñez del Campo y Jorge Alessandri.


Sus padres fueron Tomás Cereceda y Narcisa Cisternas.[1]​


Estudió en el Liceo de La Serena y luego en la Universidad de Chile, casa de estudios de la cual se tituló como ingeniero en el año 1906.[1]​[2]​


Partió su vida profesional cumpliendo labores en el Departamento de Ingeniería Hidráulica del Ministerio de Obras Públicas (MOP) y desde 1916 ejerció en el sector privado.[1]​


Fue ministro de Fomento en 1931 y ministro de Educación entre 1958 y 1960.[1]​[3]​


Se desempeñó como rector de la Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María entre los años 1936 y 1958.[1]​[4]​[5]​


Fue nombrado ciudadano benemérito de Valparaíso.[1]​
