Slinky es un personaje de las películas Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3 y Toy Story 4, así como de los videojuegos de respectivas películas. Slinky es un juguete que es medio perro y medio muelle. Slinky tiene cabeza, cuello y patas delanteras de perro y la unión a su otra parte es un muelle. Slinky es un perro salchicha simpático y sociable, no tiene apenas enemigos. El mejor amigo de Slinky es Woody, aunque cuando el Sr. Potato acusó a Woody de lo que le hizo a Buzz Lightyear y cree que le ha llegado a hacer daño, se pone algo triste y desconfía un poco de Woody, pero en realidad siempre estuvo del lado de Woody. Slinky es el segundo al mando después de Woody y se caracteriza por ser leal, sabio, además de que entiende el lenguaje perruno y es muy chistoso.


En la versión original lo interpretó Jim Varney, en español le dobló Ricky Coello y en Hispanoamérica le dobló Carlos del Campo.


Jim Varney, el artista que puso voz a Slinky en Toy Story y Toy Story 2, falleció de cáncer de pulmón en el 2000. Su voz en inglés para Toy Story 3 fue sustituida por Blake Clark, un amigo de Varney y John Lasseter que es actor y comediante.
