Villa de Muros




Abelleira es una de tantas aldeas construidas en torno a la carretera general y a pie de mar. Cuenta con aproximadamente 300 habitantes. Aunque es posible comprar artículos de primera necesidad (pan, leche, periódico, etc) es la Villa de Muros, a unos 6 km, la que aglutina la mayor parte de los servicios del municipio. El encanto de esta aldea está, sin duda, en la tranquilidad del entorno y en la belleza de sus playas.


Estuario y playas
Las calas y playas de Abelleira esconden bancos de gran riqueza en marisco, además de una incuestionable belleza paisajística. En el centro se forma un pequeño estuario debido a la desembocadura de un arroyo, y separado del mar por una pintoresca lengua de arena cubierta de pinos. Al estar en el interior de la ría las aguas son tranquilas y cristalinas, con una pendiente muy suave, ideal para los niños. Arena blanca y fina, nivel de ocupación medio-bajo.

A 6 km. de Muros, siguiendo la C-550 en dirección a Santiago.
