Coming from Windows Home Server 2011, which had an addon that controlled the PC to turn on each evening back up my photos, then when finished sent the PC back to sleep. finally got fed up with WHS2011 as the connector software keeps breaking with each windows update.
Decided to try Ubuntu server 18.04.
Installed and added the Mate desktop to set up Autoshutoff, but find it is no longer compatible.
Is there an alternative that will send the server to sleep when it is not being used?
