I have an external hard disk that I can't access. I tried using HDDGurus low-level format on windows and it wouldn't see. I couldn't see it using diskpart
in windows. It won't appear through fdisk
on ubuntu. However, if I input lsusb
without it plugged in I get
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub

can be seen by my computer however I don't know how to go about trying to format it or change it to GPT/MBR or anything. Any ideas?
