I have an acer aspire s3 laptop with win7 and linux. I recently deleted the partition that had the linux os installed because I wanted to remove everything and fully switch to linux. But after deleting the partition and restarting the computer to setup linux everything stopped working and I'm not stuck in grub rescue.

I tried everything...

My laptop is not even letting me boot from usb, it's not recognizing anything else besides the only hdd available.

I tried every single option from
ls
set root
set prefix
as soon as I enter insmod normal I get "unknown filesystem"

Tried changing to UEFI and I'm getting "No bootable device -- Please restart system" and I can't boot from USB.. It's listed when I enter the bios setup with F2 but when I try to change the boot option menu in UEFI it's not even detecting my HDD...

There must be a way to fix this.. please help! I don't have anything important in this laptop so I don't care about the files I just want to be able to reset everything

Is there any command in grub rescue to format everything? Or anything that can be done to fix this?
