Alberto II (en alemán, Albrecht; 1368 – Kelheim, 21 de enero de 1397) fue un co-regente feudal, con su padre Alberto I de Baviera, en los condados de Holanda, Henao y Zelandia en los Países Bajos. Además, desde 1389 hasta su muerte en 1397, administró la provincia bávara de Straubing en nombre de su padre, siendo la sede e infantazgo de su línea ducal bávara. La madre de Alberto II fue Margarita de Brieg, bisnieta de Wenceslao II de Bohemia.



Biografía


Alberto II pasó la mayor parte del tiempo en Straubing, organizando torneos, ordenó la introducción de carreteras y apoyó a la iglesia. No intervino en el conflicto interno de sus primos, los tres hijos de su tío Esteban II de Baviera pero apoyó su guerra contra la confederación de ciudades en Suabia y el arzobispo de Salzburgo. Alberto visitó los Países Bajos varias veces y combatió a los frisios en 1396 junto con su padre y su hermano mayor, Guillermo II. Alberto murió después de su viaje de regreso, en Kelheim.
